Jacob Harcar is a Bingham Fellow at the Institute for Justice.
Jacob was born and raised in Streator, Illinois. He graduated from Boston College in 2017 with a B.S. in Biochemistry, and he received his law degree from Harvard Law School in 2022, where he served as a Managing Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Before joining IJ, Jacob was a staff attorney at Prairie State Legal Services in Joliet, Illinois. He then clerked on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
