Philadelphia Food Truck Retaliation

For months, IJ’s activist team worked with business owners in Philadelphia to push back against a bill that expanded Philadelphia’s business curfew law to new neighborhoods. Hours after the business owners spoke out against the bill, Philadelphia city officials went to the businesses and demanded licenses and registrations, even towing one of the food trucks.

In response, IJ sent a letter to city officials, calling on them to stop their retaliatory actions against the businesses.
