Legislative and Outreach Coordinator

JoJo Tompkins first joined the Institute for Justice in July 2020, serving as the Events Coordinator. In 2023, she left to pursue her master’s degree at The London School of Economics and Political Science, where she earned an MSc in Public Policy and International Migration. Following her graduation in December 2024, JoJo returned to IJ in a new role as Legislative and Outreach Coordinator. In this capacity, she supports the legislative team by planning and executing policy strategies, tracking bills, building support for key reforms, and supporting internal operations.

She graduated with merit from the London School of Economics and summa cum laude from Appalachian State University in 2020.
